Rose Velgich-Figlar has spent 40 years in education as a Teacher of the Deaf and Speech/Language Delayed at DePaul School for Hearing and Speech. She has mentored and evaluated early childhood educators and taught at Pittsburgh universities. She is active in the Hazelwood community with the Spartan Center alongside her husband, John.
